Mohs Surgery
Mohs Surgery is an effective surgical procedure for certain skin cancer types. This involves the professional medical physician excising the skin cancer tissue(s) and further examining the treated area through microscopic examination of the surgical margins. This is to unsure the the skin cancer cells have been removed.
Most common forms of skin cancer treated through Mohs surgery include Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma, and Melanoma.
